Edan Mitchell Finch is the ‘head realstar’ and CEO of REAL STATE, which is an alternative housing market. He describes his background as “art, art, art, art… a long love affair” - emphasising the creative force behind the business.

Edan defines his work as “creating mystical housing within businesses for marginalised creatures like pixies” and plans on building a housing empire like no other. More importance is placed on the journey to get there, as he makes sure to enjoy every brick and window along the way. But whilst the business grows and evolves, it creates an awkward juxtaposition, as the deeper the housing crisis becomes, the more meaning Edan’s work has. 

Edan found out about LCVS through his studio partner who already had a space here. Having a studio in Aire Street couldn’t be more convenient, important, special and joyous for him. It is the home of his creations and many other people’s practices. “I couldn’t love it more” he says.
